  5. Mindcraft takes a full-service approach to POSIX Conformance Testing.
  6. Typically, Mindcraft will do the following tasks when certifying a system: run
  7. the National Institute of Standards and Technologies POSIX Conformance Test
  8. Suite (NIST PCTS) on the system being tested; analyze the results to determine
  9. what, if anything, needs to be fixed to make the system conforming; perform the
  10. required documentation audit; petition NIST for a certificate and negotiate
  11. with them on your behalf until it is awarded; and issue a Letter of
  12. Certification. Mindcraft was the first company to apply to the National
  13. Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program to become an Accredited POSIX
  14. Testing Laboratory and we expect to be the first to be accredited. We have been
  15. testing systems for POSIX conformance for over two years. Our service is
  16. flexible and is oriented to both manufacturers and purchasers of
  17. POSIX-conforming systems.
